That’s great that it will fit. I have a 3 door Mini Cooper auto which is all the car I need.
I might need a scooter at my next change. So to know a scooter will fit is a big bonus.
August 18, 2019 at 11:44 am #85697Is your Mini Cooper auto economic ? I like the look of the countryman is it higher up to get into ?
August 18, 2019 at 11:45 am #85698Hi Tardelli i really wanted the 3 door but when the company went to mini dealer with my scooter just said it will not fit but the good news is it will on the 5 door hatch which still looks good and the length for 3 door is 150.4 inches and 5 door 150.7 inches so its not a lot and the width is still the same it surprises me that the boot on the 5 door is bigger but according to the dealer and other dealers its a first with the elap v40 that has been done i hope its a help to others who do not want a big mpv type vehicle.

Hi Magnum im not sure as yet as i only just ordered it a week ago they say due to being made in uk only around 8 weeks for delivery i have also had a contribution from the dealer of £500 off of the ap which i have ordered the option mode which i think has three modes eco, mod and sport this is on the cooper 5 door s in sport which has some jcw parts interior also it has the bonnet stripes and free option of a white roof and mirrors as i saw one coming out of the mini oxford factory and it looked so good.
August 18, 2019 at 11:56 am #85703To add its an automatic which is £999 ap payment and also i read up on tests and its best in mod mode around town i suppose i may try eco as well but out on motorway or by roads sport would be good and i have been told that this option mode which is £200 in sport can make that popping sound but not as loud as the 200 plus bhp jcw.
August 18, 2019 at 1:00 pm #85704FootlooseIm not due to change till next year but I have seen the 5 door cooper s at the dealership and on the roads and it looks fantastic especially in either thunder grey or emerald grey and although practicality would say the countryman I do prefer the look of the 5 door cooper s sport

August 18, 2019 at 6:06 pm #85721FootlooseIts nice to get away from the topics of SUVs and EVs for a bit but that’s what’s great about the forum in that it allows us to discuss all that’s good about our vehicles current and or about to order ?
August 18, 2019 at 6:28 pm #85723i love it as its small the 1.5 is fine quick enough. unfortunateley it may have to go back early if they cant sort my back which would be a shame. but if necessary the countryman would work although i think i would go up to the cooper s just to be sure it has a similar get up and go. and the exclusive trim is essentially the same as i have.
August 18, 2019 at 6:30 pm #85724No worries tardelli
August 18, 2019 at 6:33 pm #85725British racing green has been added again as it was taken off the configurator for a couple of months although the dealer told me its a lighter metallic green then the past im not so sure its the same as the starlight blue it seems to look darker in the shade and lighter in the light.
