I have had my first motability car on order for a few months now and it’s an MG4 Trophy. Any experienced members have tips on how to approach the dealer to ask for the new AP to be honoured instead of last quarter’s?
A £1000 reduction is a big chunk of change.
Great to see confirmation! I have had my first motability car on order for a few months now and it’s an MG4 Trophy. Any experienced members have tips on how to approach the dealer to ask for the new AP to be honoured instead of last quarter’s? A £1000 reduction is a big chunk of change.
I’d visit the dealer rather than ring but its up to you, tell the dealer you want to change the AP to current prices which are lower lower and request they do it for you. 99% of the time the dealer will change it to the lower AP without any bother. Its a simple case of the dealer reording your car without loosing your car on order or place in the Q.
If the dealer is one of a very few who says they can’t do it and you have your a car off the scheme being youre new to it, you can cancel the order and order it from another dealer or the same dealer if there isn’t another close. However do bare in mind you will be bottom of the Q but means you would save a grand! (If the dealer does say no it worth posting your own thread to get more advice)
I’d also go when the dealer isn’t busy if you can 🙂
all you can do is cancel and try reorder your ap is what it was at time of order they won’t budge
