MatthewWow looks amazing
January 10, 2021 at 11:32 am #135432sorry just more touchy feely screen distractions.
your going to have to lose concentration on the road to find and hit the bit you need.
searching for one thing you can inadvertantly activate something else.
that doesnt happen with buttons and knobs.
January 10, 2021 at 11:45 am #135435also the other thing is reliability and ease/cost of repair 3 cars ago i had a citroen c4 grand piccasso and a few pixels died on its info screen and it was a huge job to get it fixed. took them 2 days and they had to remove the entire dashboard to get the screens out etc.
i know we dont pay for these things but the inconveniance of losing a car for 2 days is a pain as 9 times out of ten they either havent got an automatic or its only small salloons available.

MickC“The system knows what you need and what you want”.
Bet it dont know when i need to go for a piss.
January 10, 2021 at 4:14 pm #135491Watched the vid. Seems to be a range of bleepy, flashing thingeys projected on to a floating screen of, well, nothing. As above, yet another load of distracting stuff to pull your concentration away from the road. Not really sure exactly what it will do because of the array of acronyms and technobabble used: customer centricity; MBUX; EQ; situation specific features; processed dataset; augmented reality. OK, I know what some of these things are but question whether I want to be assaulted by them all when trying to drive.
