Well finally after ordering my first motability car on the 3rd May I’ve just had a phone call to say it’s at the dealership so should have it early next week.  5 month  wait because of a shortage of chips and covid worse time to order a new car.. ??

A 5 month wait these days is pretty fast, I read a bit in a motoring journal the other day that Mercedes are posting over a year for their cars.

It’s great that you’ll be upwardly mobile soon with your new car, have fun. ??

My Tiguan took 6months before the chip shortage so I think your doing pretty good ?

just got off the ‘phone with my son , who walked into a Mercedes dealership in Roskilde , Denmark yesterday ,and is having his new 7 seat GLB on Saturday!

However, he was just lucky that they had a few in stock, otherwise he said that they told him it would be a three month wait!
