Hey folks ,am in eastbourne drove here  kia sportage, ( app ) says ( battery warning ?? )  Just had long drive ,any advice .

One thing there is poor interupted internet signal in eastbourne ,satnav has been  non functioning in eastbourne occassionaly, leaveing tomorrow.

Just seen on other kia forums ,other people had this ,but, when checked no issue found with battery ??? Just another kia thing ?. Unable to remove  battery warning ?. On app.

It said KEEP RIGHT TO M11 CAMBRIDGE ,but car was 25 miles other side of dartford crossing , ???  Will have to book it in to get sorted ,i have no desktop computer ,just smart phone ,am told cant download updates.

Update sept  kia sportage GTS FHEV AWD well now since car came back from kia dealership emission control lamp on , it has been exellent ,just glides through air ,in this car radio is brillient ,we can listen to radio,on motorway ,could never do that with cla shootingbreak, far too much air & tyre noise.

 

I think kia sportage must have acoustic glass front side. ?. So quiet even when petrol engines on.

Hi Micky-I’m awaiting delivery of a Sportage gt S Line  PHEV-I’m not sure if yours is the PHEV, but if it is does it come with a 3 pin charger (domestic 13 amp plug type)?

Micky’s is the FHEV, not a plug-in.

However @kezo and @Glos Guy both have the PHEV so will be able to confirm.

I can’t imagine it would come without the 3 pin granny charger.

He has a FHEV not a PHEV, as for the Granny charger there seems to be a lot of different answers!

They used to come with both a Type 2 (32A) cable you use with a home charger or those at charging stations like Fastned, Instavolt, Gridserve etc. and the 13A Granny lead to charge from a 13A mains socket.

Some new owners are reporting only a Type 2 cable being supplied, others have said they got one free from the dealer if they mentioned not having a charger fitted at home.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Mine came with a 1oA granny charger however,  Glos Guy was told it didn’t by his dealer but, would include one. fwiw You can pick them up on Ebay for around £50

We have the facelifted Tucson though but, expect Kia closely follow Hyundai anyway.

Hello sportage kids , yes i have FHEV  i didnt want plug in ,i have mobility problems cant keep plugging in , i have wonderfull ex para mate that act as carerer ,he fills car uo etc and i bung him few quid now & again ,know him since kids ,other mate helps but is working man. My car glides great at present hope stays like that ,enjoy yoir phev sportage i bet you love it ,what colour Tosher.

Untill Kia release images no one knows for sure but, people are guessing it will have the design language of the Sorento, which has has similar front design. The same is happeng where they are looking at the new Santa Fe design and assuming the Tucson will get it next. Who knows for sure!
