Hello lads & lassies ,does anyone know at what distance total that kia sportage app can reach & function to the car ,, i cant seem find that information.

Not 100% sure Micky, but if it works like my BMW app and the previous Volvo app, surely it works over the internet and has nothing to do with how near to the car you are?

I’m sure Kezo will be along to explain later.

It’s got to be no more than 10ft, for safety reasons using remote park and for security of the key code.

Not sure of exact answer though sorry.

I have seen where car is on map 2 miles away ,but not sure if can lock doors etc on  app that distance.

I was referring to key sorry, the app will be at least a mile or more.

As above, if the car and App have a WiFi/Internet connection it can be any distance.  I’ve connected to my Enyaq from Spain easily enough several times!.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Hi in eastbourne at present ,app reaches car easily from hotel , but earlier nearly 1 mile away from car ,would not connect , could of been bad internet signal sometimes happen on coast.
