Hi all I’m due to collect my first car 2 weeks before my next PIP payment date. When will the Motability fees be taken from, will it be that next payment (2 weeks) or the one the month after

Should be an easy one for someone in the know, in fact I think I asked this question when I joined not so long ago, can’t remember the answer tho sorry..

Given PIP payments are made in arrears, payment will be taken/redirected to motability on your next payment date and every 4 weeks from then on. What I think, but can’t remember is whether mb will take a 2 week payment and DWP pay 2 weeks in to your bank account, given your are in the middle of your payment date. Hopefully someone will be along shortly and give you a more direct answer. @wmcforum can be quite clever, but don’t tell him I said that 🙂

Thank you for your advice, I understand it  more clearly now I think I was getting confused as I forgot it was paid in arrears, had a silly foggy brain moment ?
