First time poster, long time stalker :/
just thought I’d share my experience with you all and hope for some responses (preferably relating) because I have had the worst experience.
In October I went to apply for a vehicle on the scheme (ford) and got there only to realise/be told that I had 9 months left of pip not the 12 months. Ok fine I’ll ring DWP blah blah blah. Not until MARCH was I reassessed … and as you know the coronavirus entered the U.K. around jan/Feb and was well under way around March / April. So then April 1st motability close the scheme. 🙂 ok there’s a pandemic going on I get it. So the DWP letter came back Mid May, has the allowance (was lowered on daily living but last week I got it back after mandatory reconsideration, was 1 point off) Anyway so July comes and the scheme opens again and the car I wanted so much is now stock units only, which there aren’t any within a 500 mile radius….. so July 2nd I finally placed an application at Audi. The man was nice and it took About 10 minutes. The application was approved 2 working days later, but no contact from dealer ?? (MAIN BITS NOW) 5 more days pass by so I decide to ring him myself and ask, and he says he “hasn’t received it on his end yet” ok weird….. I defiantly have….. THEN TODAY I get a call off him being passive aggressive saying we only contact you when the vehicle is here, there’s nothing else for me to tell you etc. (Probably because I emailed Someone telling them he hadn’t called) He said the car will be built in 2 weeks and then 2/3 weeks delivery. No mention of a tracking number and by the sounds of it I’ll get a pleasant phone call mid august, and silence until then :D. So yeah, that’s my FULL experience in as much detail as I can provide. Please let me know of any experiences you’ve had. If you’ve read this far I appreciate it a lot, I‘ll have waited 11 months for this car (IF it’s on time) so I am a little excited. 🙂
