Was in a Kia dealer yesterday looking at the Sportage GT line S hybrid when I came upon the massive EV9 in burgundy red.  What a stunning vehicle, don’t think it’ll be coming on Motability anytime soon, starting price £65,000 up to £77,000!!!   Bloody nice though.

It 7s big, it’s longer and higher than our Range Rover, though its slightly shorter in width.

I will stick to our Range Rover thanks lol

I was taken aback by this huge block of a motor. I’m 5′ 10″ and it was as tall as me. I sure you could get 2 Sportages in it and still have space for a couple of suitcases!!

Goodness knows how much electricity it’ll take to charge up…

I believe it has close to 100kWh battery (96kWh useable), with 280 mile claimed range, around 230-250 in the real world.

One thing for sure, it won’t require a tow truck or suffer gremlins like the TATA Rover ?

              Typical unsubstantiated BS again.

Yes Tata, but designed and built in the UK by British workers who pay the taxes that let you get subsidised cars paid for by their taxes.

Makes my blood boil when those that expect tge government to give them handouts, attack the workers who pay

I’m talking about common control module failures and general electrical faults and yes I’m well aware where they are built!

Where did tax come into the equastion?

Can you explain, when has the tax payer subsidied the scheme, other than the welfare system, which many people on here have paid into, through taxes, during their working life!

Currently looking at next car options, do vehicles this price and size generally come on the scheme?

not sure there is much need for something that size. god knows the weight too. maybe towing but still think deisels are better for that.
