I have a 5 year old Remington electric shaver I’ve been happy with it but have they improved since then ? I have a wet shave for special occasions but like the quickness of an electric shaver . Does anyone use an electric shaver on here ?

I tried one last year and just couldn’t get on with it. My face hair grows thick and fast, it just didn’t feel like I’d had a shave and it made my skin really dry.

I still use my old Braun series 5 mainly and have started using pre shave lotion again (blue stratos), which is not expensive but makes a difference to the overall shave.

Kezo I’ve never used pre shave lotion how long do you put it on before you shave ie to let it sink in ?

You can shave after about 20 seconds once its dry mate.

I use it because its cheap than most others and has decent reviews!

I gave up shaving a long time ago! My neck is extremely sensitive, even using electric and pre shave lotions I would come up like a beetroot and be very painful. Tried Braun foil and wet and Phillips rotary but no joy.

Currently use a Phillips beard trimmer, 7mm on the head and 5mm for the beard so quite close and neat, well it doesn’t frighten the cat so I’m assuming it looks ok 😂

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
