HI All,

Apologies if already been asked, are you able to hand back your Motability vehicle early?

I’m 18 months in to my lease, but depending on a review in work later this month, I may be eligible for a company car, so I would be better off (vehicle would be an EV).

i think you can but i think there is a cash penalty.. not huge tho.

Current Car: Hyundai Kona Premium EV...2 way 40kg hoist
Last Car: Toyota C-HR Excel Hybrid...4 way 80kg hoist

i think its up to £250. i ended mine last time 6 months early and they charged me £50.

i think the reason for the change is taken into account, i couldnt get in/out of the mini 3dr i had as my back blew so went for a countryman.

but i got a prorata refund of ap and a prorata gcb.

Hi @Chris M When the time come and you decide to leave the motability scheme, because you took the company car option, Just call Motability and explain your situation for wanting to terminate your lease.

Customer service team will help you sort things out.
