<p style=”text-align: left;”>Has anyone seen the Vauxhall Corsa-e pricing right now? It’s really intetesting, the top models are loads cheaper than the lower spec ones (depreciation based of future value I guess), I’m actually tempted.</p>
SE Nav 7.4kW £699 (bottom of range)

      SE Nav Premium 7.4kW £299

      SE Nav Premium 11kW £1849

      SRI Nav Premium 7.4kW £149

      SRI Nav Premium 11kW £ZERO

Elite Nav Premium 11kW £99 (top of the range)

I’ve got to say the Nav Premium for £99 looks mighty tempting esp when compared to the e-208 £999 – £1999

When not locked down vauxhall still do a 3 day test drive where they’ll deliver the vehicle to your door too.

Looks nice in power orange with a black roof and wheels. EV database gives it an effective range of 170 miles which is pretty good considering it charges from zero to 80% in only 30min from a fast charger.

The price for the top of the range is outstanding value at an AP of £99.

What kit do you get on the top of the range spec??

Has anyone test driven one yet??

Well you could look the answers up fairly easily if you were interested in a answering that question.

Top of the range at £99 is a bargain because regardless of spec the bottom of the range is 7 times more expensive hence a bargain against itself, even the other top of the range but with 7.4kW charger costs more than the 11kW too.

Also it has similar spec to the e208 as its the same car, obviously the interior is more 21st century in the pug but that aside its the same car for 90% less AP, hence bargain. If you want a lot of car but can’t afford a big AP (like me for example)

I’ll copy & paste the trim in as you’ve asked, this is for the £99 Elite Nav 11kW

I don’t work for Vauxhall, in fact up until recently I’ve hated nearly everything they’ve done but the Corsa looks good & is the right price here, personally I’d still like something a bit bigger that can get 3 adults in the back so I think the MG ZS is possibly still more practical & is also a lot of car for not much money.

I just figured it was worth posting as we’re always seeing ever increasing APs & moaning about it & this is a nice surprise & they also do that long test drive.

If you want to see a test drive there’s loads of reviews on YouTube.

I’ve just read that back & apologies if my reply sounded snippy it wasn’t meant that way just badly written so apologies up front for that.

Richard your last message wasn’t snippy. It was balanced, comprehensive and helpful. I do wonder why people ask about details which are available freely on something called the internet when posting queries- on the internet!

On the main point you make, the Corsa is indeed a bargain. A glimmer of light in growing darkness on the scheme. In fact there are a number of EV bargains. Looks like EV is the way to go.

Please be careful here, the 7.4kW is single phase, the 11kW is 3 phase, so you need to ascertain what speed the 11kW can charge on a single phase supply, it may only be about 3.6kW. However, if you have a 3 phase supply at home then go ahead, but most homes in the UK are single phase.

You may find the salesman telling you it will charge at 7.4kW only to find it’s really 3.6kW off your home wall box.

Do your research before taking the plunge.

Gothitjulie, very interesting point raised and I wasnt aware of that.

A non technical person like myself would instantly assume that 11kwh would charge quicker than 7 kwh…. so it’s something to watch out for.

Thank god you are on this site to give us this valuable information.
