Just curious as to what everyone is getting currently range wise on their cars?

My car on 100%: 327 Range

Actual range I’m currently doing 100-0%: 140 Miles

Surely this is not right? I haven’t been having the heating on a lot of my journeys and if I do I put it on not so powerful

      Disappointed to be honest

      Peugeot e5008

Also get random errors pop up and disappear now and then

screen hasn’t worked 2 times either

      had the car 8 weeks

I have a 2 year old Nissan Qashqai ePower, which is 100% electric drive, just like any other EV, but the battery is not charged by a plug in method, rather it is charged by an on board petrol ICE, which unlike most ‘hybrids’ is not connected to the ‘drive’ system, only to the battery! Being a fully electric driven vehicle it suffers from the same problems as other EV’s especially with range due to weather conditions, amongst other things! As an example, i normally get around 55-56 mpg , but during the winter period ,using heating, de- misting, wipers, headlights etc this drops down to about 40-42 mpg and even less if driving on a motorway at high speed ( compared to town driving ) in bad Weather! The one advantage of the ePower, which was absolutely ‘ clear’ when I had a ‘leaf’ courtesy car, when the ePower was in for it’s annual service was ‘ no worries over range, and finding charging facilities, I just top up the ePower with unleaded and off I go

Where did that 2yrs go Seems like yesterday to me Glad your still enjoying your ePower Any ideas for your next car?

          Where indeed?

Everyone who travels in the ePower enjoys the experience- I have genuinely’ not had any negative comments, other than the very first time I had a non family member passenger, who ‘s overall comment on the car was favourable, but he did say something like’ well, it’s not a Tesla’! To which my reply was ‘ no it isn’t,but it is half the price your son paid for his Tesla!

I am currently looking for another vehicle as our needs have changed, and I now need a much larger boot area, but I may hang on until September / October ,when I can officially order a replacement, without penalty.

I have looked at several fully electric cars, including an Enyaq, and a Peugeot , as well as an ePower X Trail and the Dacia Jogger hybrid which has a similar set up to the ePower – my daughter is on her second Dacia – they are fairly basic, but tough and reliable, and as my main criteria these days, is boot space, then the jogger is worth considering , and has a good virtual awd system!
