Just curious as to what everyone is getting currently range wise on their cars?
My car on 100%: 327 Range
Actual range I’m currently doing 100-0%: 140 Miles
Surely this is not right? I haven’t been having the heating on a lot of my journeys and if I do I put it on not so powerful
Disappointed to be honest
Peugeot e5008
Also get random errors pop up and disappear now and then
screen hasn’t worked 2 times either
had the car 8 weeks

I know previous cars from the Stellantis (Vauhall, Peugeot, Citroen) group lost a lot of range in the winter. I was assuming they would have sorted it out. My Hyundai ioniq 6 is getting around 225 in this cold spell. Usually does around 320 when temperatures are over 10c.
January 12, 2025 at 7:53 pm #296102Hyundai Ioniq 6, summer 320, 0° 260 but I’m also sitting at a comfortable 22° and doing short journeys. Heated seats and steering wheel on too.
January 12, 2025 at 7:59 pm #296103@carmad I’ve been leaving my heated seat on the drivers seat and sometimes steering wheel at the expense of in car cabin heat. I’d be happy with your 225/260 figures. Actually don’t know what to do. Whether it’s worth contacting someone because like I said 140 is shocking 😭😭
January 12, 2025 at 8:14 pm #296106Toyota Bz4x vision, usually get around 260 ish, I like to be comfy, getting around 205 in cold weather, but have heated seats, steering wheel and 22 degrees, happy with that.

January 12, 2025 at 8:45 pm #296111I assume the range you are all quoting is with a 80% charge.
January 12, 2025 at 11:11 pm #296117I’m getting about 225 miles on an 85x Enyaq at 100% charge I’m not really doing any real mileage each day so I’d probably be getting more if I was doing longer distance journeys.
January 12, 2025 at 11:17 pm #296119My Mach e is shockingly bad. Can easily get down to under 1.5mi/kWh! 22 degrees aircon on auto intensity 1/3. Haven’t even dared to do a long trip. My range is therefore between 100 and 150 per 72kWh full charge. Thankfully, I only really use the car within London in this weather and these temperatures.
January 12, 2025 at 11:29 pm #296122Enyaq 85X, same as Rich44, about 220 shown on the guess-o-meter for a 100% charge. In the real world sub zero temps will drop the actual range achieved. Did a run to Sunderland tonight at +2c, averaged about 3m/kWh going, 2.6m/kWh coming back when it was a bit colder.
Heating at 20c, seat and steering wheel both set at 2 (mid position).
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Been getting 2.1m/kwh just doing very local drives, elec seats on,elec steering wheel, interior heating at 25* fan number 4,radio on,heated mirrors on,heated rear screen on.All drive outward is uphill, journey back paddle shift regen always used.
January 13, 2025 at 8:44 am #296130The 327 miles range will be what the manufacturer thinks it’ll do so you can forget that 🫣
Your 100-0% 140 miles, how are you calculating that? Have you actually driven those miles or is it a couple of short trips and extrapolated the range from there?
At a quoted 327 mile range you’d probably get about 275 on a single long trip, if you only do a 5 mile commute twice a day in this cold weather then yes 140 miles might be what the car thinks it’ll do ☹️
Can I also say to check your tyre pressures cause they’ll have dropped in the cold and that can have a big effect on range.
My Ioniq 6 is getting about 260 miles just now in 30 mile sections.
January 13, 2025 at 9:55 am #296131Official range on my Ariya is supposed to be 220 but in summer the guess-o-meter is 285/290 and today it’s 199, I’ve just charged to 100%.
Heating set to 20 degrees, I don’t use the heated seats much or steering wheel.I do a regular run twice a week, in summer I usually get 5. 4 kWh in winter it drops to around 3.3 KWh.
January 13, 2025 at 10:20 am #296132Summer +20 degrees 240 miles and winter -5 degrees 165 miles according to GOM. A big difference but still very useable.
Heating 22 degrees, use seat and steering wheel as and when needed.
58kWh Battery.

January 13, 2025 at 10:22 am #296133@ianp 100% charge, only do 80% when charging away from home.

January 13, 2025 at 10:33 am #296135I’ve an E3008 and am currently only getting about 140 miles per full charge as well. However, I do at least six 1/2 mile trips per day and two 2 mile trips. The best that I saw in summer (August when I got the car) was about 230 miles. It’s a shocking return for a car with a stated 326 mile WLTP. Lovely car inside and out, but the low range has certainly soured my relationship with it and I wouldn’t touch another electric Peugeot.
The software was all over the place for the first 3 months that I had the car. I kept getting warning lights coming up and messages like “traction control fault” … or “find a garage” … or something not working, long delays for the screens to activate/populate etc It was worrying, but they went off after a while. I haven’t really had any more false lights come on in the last 6 weeks or so, which I’m assuming was fixed by on over the air update. However, I still get the occasional instance of losing all of my preset radio stations and it’s a pain to have to redo them all again.
Now we have the inconvenience of having to do the recall for the ball joint issue, which is a pain as my dealer is 40 miles away, but is a worry in itself.
January 13, 2025 at 10:50 am #296136I have measured using my Podpoint EV charger including losses, preheating the cabinet for 15 minutes draws approximately 4 kWh , I have stopped preheating and take the pain.
You will be surprised how much energy is required warming up from cold to the desired cabin temperature
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally say the wrong thing.
January 13, 2025 at 11:02 am #296139and I wouldn’t touch another electric Peugeot.
That’s interesting, looks a nice car, it was on my ‘B’ list but not now!

At 0 degrees C your battery is probably 25% less efficient, a heat pump will draw 2 kWh to precondition the battery, I believe the Peugeot does not have a heat pump so will be less efficient, Kezo should be along and explain things.

January 13, 2025 at 3:17 pm #296166Honda E. In Summer getting 140-150 miles on a full charge – more than quoted 137 WLTP. This winter has been atrocious on mileage – getting approx 75 miles max on a full charge. We have to keep heating on else car steams up, that kills the mileage.
Lease officially ends next month and we need something with a much larger range as needs have outgrown a city car.
January 13, 2025 at 5:48 pm #296175My Kia Soul, 64KW, heatpump, averaged 230-260 in summer and 185-225 in winter on a full charge depending on distance, temps, wind, rain. Did more than 15,000 miles a year, never dawdled on the dual carriageway/motorway, overall average was 3.2m/kw.
Current Ioniq 5 AWD with heatpump, has 80kw useable, at 80% it showed 200 miles in the cold snap, currently on 79% and reckons 207, its 9 deg outside. No idea yet on its true range until we do a few long trips, but based on how accurate the Kia was I’d trust it to be pretty much what it says it is if I drive the same as I always do. Short range trips eat KW’s, last 2 mile trip averaged 1.8m/kw.

In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
January 13, 2025 at 7:09 pm #296180My Enyaq 85x is currently getting 220-230 from a full charge.
January 18, 2025 at 7:46 pm #296356We’ve got an Enyaq 85, we’ve averaged 2.5 miles per KWH last week. We did 100 miles and used 52% of the battery.
January 29, 2025 at 11:23 pm #296784I had the kia soul 64 kw with a range up to 260 miles. The range never fell very much in Winter. I have the Renault scenic etech with 87kw battery for a month now. Range is meant to be up to 360 but i’m lucky to get 300 and I drive carefully and don’t use the heat much .I am quite disappointed in it.
January 29, 2025 at 11:59 pm #2967872024 ID.4 Style Pro 77kw here, and I’m the same as most of the Enyaq guys, unsurprisingly.
Been getting 200-220 last month or two, but I do use the accelerator like Mr Miyagi taught Daniel San to wax his fences, and I’ve always got the heating & steering wheel on etc.
January 30, 2025 at 12:21 pm #296798I have a 2 year old Nissan Qashqai ePower, which is 100% electric drive, just like any other EV, but the battery is not charged by a plug in method, rather it is charged by an on board petrol ICE, which unlike most ‘hybrids’ is not connected to the ‘drive’ system, only to the battery!
Being a fully electric driven vehicle it suffers from the same problems as other EV’s especially with range due to weather conditions, amongst other things!
As an example, i normally get around 55-56 mpg , but during the winter period ,using heating, de- misting, wipers, headlights etc this drops down to about 40-42 mpg and even less if driving on a motorway at high speed ( compared to town driving ) in bad Weather!
The one advantage of the ePower, which was absolutely ‘ clear’ when I had a ‘leaf’ courtesy car, when the ePower was in for it’s annual service was ‘ no worries over range, and finding charging facilities, I just top up the ePower with unleaded and off I go

Seems like yesterday to me
