Hi all, anyone got any thoughts or feedback on the Cupra Tavascan.
Some of the deals make this EV look attractive on paper.
Many thanks,Regards, wonky

ID4/5 in disguise!
March 5, 2025 at 5:57 pm #298906@kezo I’ve driven the Tavascan and ID5 and they drive and feel very different, not to mention the difference in quality of materials the Tavascan has over the VW.
Im aware they do share a lot of parts etc but it’s definitely not an ID5 in disguise. For the relatively low advanced payment you can currently get it for, I think it’s right up there as one of the best EV’s you can currently order.

A snip at £6,495!

March 5, 2025 at 7:19 pm #298913Nope, nearly every Cupra dealership has them on offer until the end of March for £1695 advance payment.
Theres also 2 dealerships (Poole and Kent) that are doing it for nil ap. @DumfriesDik
March 5, 2025 at 8:11 pm #298919I looked into the Cupra Tavascan a few weeks ago when i saw a zero advance payment for the V1 model from JCB. there is not a lot of spec in this V1 model, in fact very little compared to other makes in this class, the dealership also had an offer of pay just £1000 for the winter pack which gives you the heat pump and heated front seats and a heat insulated windscreen. move upto the V2 model and there’s heaps more spec but that model is not on the scheme.
A very very nice looking vehicle though if you are not too bothered about spec

March 6, 2025 at 9:29 am #298938@Bandit Maybe they’ll be introducing the v2 onto the scheme but with the original ap of the v1 being around 6.5k I would imagine the v2 would be north of that considering the extras the v2 has!

You’re right! But how confusing. The AP really needs to change on the Motability website to reflect this.

March 7, 2025 at 12:10 pm #298994Hi all, many thanks to everyone who has posted info.
Im adding Tavascan to my EV shortlist as the spec of the V1 we can have has enough for us.
Revisiting , Enyaq and Ioniq 5 for another test drive.

Im guessing it’s a bid to get the EVs sold in the year. April will start the new year for most things Government, so I’d guess the target year begins April ends March the following year. Thus it’ll return
