I hate putting Christmas decorations up as it involves getting into the loft and dragging multiple boxes down the stairs. My wife loves all the lights and glitter and I must admit when they go back into the loft in January the lounge feels a bit empty.

No. Mrs WMC suggested this very thing yesterday evening. I left the room in disgust.

Mike I had outside lights when the kids were young and Mrs brydo would have them all over the outside, but I’ve convinced her to keep them to the inside.

Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.Well bit late I guess compared to Mike, however tree up it’s a real one, we always get a real tree, so comes now to adding water to the base stand, now it’s upto my Son to chainsaw the bottom of the tree, and me just pour water in from the cold tap, every so often..
However there’s now need of a change says Mrs aj, nope no more cold tap water, kettle boiling hot water from now on, leave exactly 10 mins then add kettle contains of kettle to the base of the tree stand, apparently the hot water gets up through the tree much easier hence less needle drop..
Well the Christmas tree is up lol. No trimmings due to Winston the 😸

@Phaedra That’s Winston, he is a big boy but scared of everything. Tut. What is it with cats and bags? Winstone is either on one or in one nosing whats in there. Especially fond of a pastic carrier bag to lay on.
