It’s not just Cadbury’s that are at  though. All because there was a shortage of cocoa due to storms and bad crops, the price shot up.

Now there is a glut of cocoa as they can’t sell it because manufacturers have found other ingredients to substitute for cocoa = more profit= horrible chocolate.

At least we had the chance to enjoy before the change Joss, which I’m glad of, must say don’t think I’ll be buying much now, I loved fruit & nut, whole nut, and plain..

Mrs aj awhile back tried melting Cadburys, (tbh I didn’t take much notice) however I can remember her and my Son saying it wouldn’t melt, over hot water for ages, nope so tried in the microwave quickly it seemed just to go oily and tuff😳👀👀    👀

In 2015, Creme Egg Recipe Change: In the UK, Cadbury altered the shell of its iconic Creme Egg from Dairy Milk chocolate (introduced in 1971) to a standard cocoa mix chocolate. This change led to significant consumer backlash and resulted in a loss of over £6 million in sales.
