As per title, I received an email from BP today stating ”We are contacting you to explain that your OZEV Grant of £350 towards your Home Charger installation, which we claim on your behalf, has been rejected due to missing documentation.”

Has anyone else had one of these? Is this just ineptitude on the part of BP / Motability / DWP

We’ve had our charge point for 15 months! Surely they should have noticed a whole missing document before now?!

        Yes!

apparently BP Pulse lost all the data of some of the installs. I had an engineer come out from their subcontractor to re photograph and check, verify and certify the installation for BP I have also been sent a copy so I can digitally sign it despite doing it previously, again due to them losing data

        cheers VAUN

        Cheers, all the very best

Thanks @Vaun. I really, really shouldn’t be surprised. I work in IT and if things are done even just semi competently it’s pretty hard to lose data. Things get broke, they go wrong, obviously, but large scale data loss is a pretty poor show. Even for my little noddy sites it’s almost impossible, it’s really only in the case of non payment that I’d lose all my data (and I wouldn’t because I have backups elsewhere)

I’d actually have respect for BP if they came straight out and said due to a hack / breach / accident / someone unplugged the server / we screwed up we need you to provide your document again
