Hi. Does anyone have an idea, on how much does this cost to full charge using a home charger, we have a fixed our utility prices for 5 years, so concerned it won’t save us much compared to petrol/diesel as we couldnt get a lower rate. Cheers.

Ball park figure – it’s a 42.2kWh battery which means it will take at least 42.2kWh to charge it from 0% to 100% (not allowing for losses due to heat, etc).

So if your electricity is 15p per kWh, it will cost 0.15 x 42.2 = £6.33 to charge.

Probably need to allow around 10% for losses

I pay 12.6p a kw and I can average 4 miles per kw. I reckon for the price of a gallon of unleaded (£1.25 × 4.55) I get the equivalent of 180mpg

Thank you, that’s good to know.
