The LOST oneDoes anyone know why theres a jump between
AUDI A3 SPORTBACK 35 TFSI BLACK EDITION 5DR
Now £2449.
Was £2249
but the
AUDI A3 SPORTBACK 35 TFSI S LINE 5DR
Now £1249.
Was £1649
Both manual but hardly anything different between trim levels. Yet the sline drops by £400 and the black edition goes up £200
Are they still updating the prices or is it completely done?

WinstonAs much as I like the A3 I do ( lots ) it’s too low for me personally
But remeber it’s about to be replaced by a brand new model with all the latest and greatest tech added, which is why you’re now seeing some models like the 184 tdi quattro, bear in mind in this current model you’d need to pay over a grand for the tech pack to get the virtual cockpit
Something that will come standard on the brand new motor along with much more
So it’s almost like they are saying.. AH OK we will let you have a good Audi now but it’ll be the old model by the time you receive it, which is pretty poor
And I’m an Audi lover

The LOST oneWinston
I love audi to thats why I try to stay loyal but the new model was supposed to be this year but has been delayed again.
I need a car ASAP So I need to decide quickly what to pick
Oh and I hate the Q2. If the Q3 was still available I would be going for that.

WinstonYeah the Q2 is cack, prob the worst looking audi I’ve ever saw tbh
That’s getting a serious face-lift aswell
I had a Q3 S Line Plus, 184 quattro Auto, so that’s the same engine etc that’s in that A3 now being offered on the scheme and even though I love the looks of the current A3, the new one will be eventually be along and I’m sure the interior will be night and day
Do you have a motability car just now? Remember you can extend the lease by up to 2 years to see what else appears on the scheme
The Tiguan R Line Tech ticks a lot of boxes with regards to size, Value, looks and tech and is as close as you’ll get to an Audi and the price has just been reduced further today, so maybe that’s something worth checking?

The LOST oneI have an A3 at the moment but not on motability
My friend has an 18 plate Tiguan R-Line 2ltr Diesel. But the have had several problems with it. In the first 3 months she took it back to Volkswagen 4 times for several reasons.
4 weeks – Add brake fluid
6 weeks – Add ad-blue
7 weeks – Auto hold wouldn’t release when trying to pull off – nearly caused 2 accidents.
– Passenger mirror stopped dipping when putting it into reverse
– Passenger window would open on its own when weather was bad
Plus other stuff I can’t remember.
They fixed it all but they were rude. Then when it went in for a service they only gave her a polo for a rental car even though she clearly couldn’t get in it because its to low. When she told them they said they only have polos which is crap for disabled people. She missed her hospital appointment that day because of it.
So with her problems I might avoid VW

WinstonIt sure sounds like your friend has had a right rough deal with her Tiguan, I guess that’s the prob with mass production some poor bugger is gonna end up with a stinker
Hopefully she is clear of probs now mind you
I’m sure though that if her car needs to go back in for a repair and they only have smaller unsuitable cars as courtesy cars that Motability can organise a bigger more suitable car
I’ve never did this personally, hit it was the service manager at Audi that was telling me this at the start of the year
I’ve had my R Line tech for a couple of months now, touch wood no probs so far
It’s a helluva lot of car for ur money and comes with pretty much everything you’d want as standard
The 360 degree camera is amazing
I did have that buyers remorse those when I handed my Q3 and collected the Tiguan, but now after a couple of months I look at it and I think, that’s a pretty nice looking motor
Anyways I hope u find the one ur after my friend but I woudnt hold out much hope a decent trim Level Q3 appearing on the scheme any day soon
