Hello guys, Im planning to order a new Audi A3 next week and I already spoke to the dealer, when I was speaking to him he told me the model( its the base model 30tfsi S tronic (auto)) is a 1L engine but on the audi website and also on motability its stated as a 1.5L engine, could he be wrong or is it audi website that could be wrong here? I dont know what to do because Im getting two different specs. Im thinking of calling a different dealer but I dont want the car to be delivered to a different city lol.

Also, I was wondering if could change the alloys, they offer upgraded alloys for a bit of an extra cost and I was wondering if they would let me upgrade them.

The 30 TFSi has a 3 cylinder 1.0 litre engine with 116 bhp.

The 35 TFSi is the 1.5 litre with 150 bhp.

I’m not sure which part of the Audi website you were looking at but the A1 configurator shows the correct engines as above šŸ˜†

Apologies @tazza77, I was looking at the A1.

The A3 engines must have changed very recently.

The new 30 is indeed a detuned 1.5 litre now with 116 bhp. It was certainly a 1.0 litre recently, like the A1.

So the Audi and Motability websites are correct and your sales “specialist” is wrong!

Thanks for the reply, yeah I called another dealership and he was more informed, the audi a3 had a facelift and now they come as 1.5L standard. good deal ngl and it’s packed with a lot of features as a base model.
