afaik the standard techo is 1495…. the iconic is about 4k ..
Current Car: Hyundai Kona Premium EV...2 way 40kg hoist
Last Car: Toyota C-HR Excel Hybrid...4 way 80kg hoistFebruary 19, 2024 at 12:41 pm #258795It should do until Q2 April 1st
February 19, 2024 at 1:52 pm #258803Yes, £3995 but there is the £750 new car payment and I saw this on the Renault Website…
“£1,500 towards the Austral iconic esprit alpine E-Tech full hybrid 200hp…
(For vehicles ordered between 6th February 2024 – 2nd April 2024 and registered & financed by 30th June 2024.)”Just wondering if anyone has bought one and if this amount is available to Motability customers too.
A little to the left of normal ?
February 19, 2024 at 2:02 pm #258804I’m 99.9% sure this offer doesn’t apply to motability orders
February 19, 2024 at 2:09 pm #258805Have you had a test drive ? There is a delay in the gearbox etc
February 19, 2024 at 4:20 pm #258822I have tried it yes, LOVED it. Having it for a longer try again tomorrow. I didn’t find that there was a delay in the first one I drove, will keep that in mind when looking again tomorrow. I REALLY like it. Which is unusual for me because I’m a Nissan fangirl through and through.
Had a longer test in the QQ e-power today. Really liked it, only the space for the 3 pre-teen rapidly-becoming-very-tall kids concerned me a bit. (I have a 2021 QQ atm).
Narrowed it down to the C5 aircross FHEV — lots of boot but again, not much passenger space; the QQ — more inside cabin space, smidge more boot but not much size difference; and the Austral — which has lots of passenger space but a slightly smaller boot.
(I also have a Tibetan Terrier and car cage that I take everywhere, and most often crutches/4 wheel walker with seat)
Trying to get the best size with the best mpg. Mpg is important as we do 300miles odd each week.
Trying to choose what to sacrifice is stressing me out ?

February 19, 2024 at 5:27 pm #258828The techno Austral is just £750 with the £750 off but I don’t think it’s got a power boot ? I like the silver alloys on the techno I loved the red

I will!
The Techno Esprit Alpine or the Iconic Esprit Alpine are the ones I am looking at as I have lower back and leg pain (from years of working with horses and getting injured repeatedly ?) So I’m after the heated seats and massage function. I get that my comfort is foremost when I’m choosing but my kids are autistic and if I can prevent sensory meltdowns by choosing the best back seats then I’m inclined to do so!
Will let you know how it goes tomorrow!

February 19, 2024 at 6:18 pm #258834Please put it in eco mode and take note of the mpg and range I’d turn the air con climate off ! Many thanks
