My Peugeot 208 is coming up for it’s 12 month annual service, there are also a few recall jobs to be carried out. What is the normal procedure when the annual service is due, do I have to contact Peugeot to book the work in or does Peugeot contact you?

The onus is on you to make sure the car is booked in to get its service on time.

Some manufacturers will also contact you, or the car or App may make you aware too.

I think Peugeots have a service indicator reminder, so it may be the case that the service is not due for more than 28 days.

If you require a courtesy car while yours is in for the day, it’s a good idea to book it in early anyway, as these are often in high demand.

Aye nearly all dealers will contact you. I’m still getting Hyundai service messages even though it’s gone a year.

Best to book as early as you can if you need a courtesy car especially an automatic which I do.
