Hi I am new on here. This might sound like a stupid question but I had to hand my car back early as my driver can no longer drive. I got a grant fir the AP and I was told by the motability advisor that I would get some money back from my AP surely that can’t be right as it was in the form of a grant???

But did the advisor know you had a grant to pay the AP? It is normal otherwise to receive a pro-rata refund of the AP when a car is handed back, is written off etc.

I don’t know he just said that we were entitled to a refund. I presumed the system showed that it was a Frant. He said it would be oro rata and paid within two weeks. I don’t expect anything back it was a grant after all.
