In real money, if you add 60% of a 77kWh battery (20-80%) that’s 46.2 kWh added.  That will cost you £24.41 for that charge at 55p.

Assuming a fairly standard 3 miles per kWh, adding 46 kWh will return 136 miles.

In comparison, if you were able to charge at home, the same 46.2kWh would cost £3.22 based on 7p kWh. I understand you can’t do this though!

Your current Jucke hybrid, would therefore remain the cheapest option, based on the fact you would have to rely public charging!

          Any Tesla chargers near mitch?

That’s unfortunate and off the cards!

The only other two things I can think of are:

                1) can you charge at your place of PT work and willl you be working there for the forseeeable future.

                2) Have you looked int Disabled Facilities Grants or Veterans Grants, in respect of having a basic driveway installled. Perhaps @BigDave can help with Veterans grant providers.

If you find the answer to those is no, my hand on heart oppinion is to stick with hybrid, as it will be both cheaper and more conveinient in the long run.

                Mark any thoughts?
