Not yet.
from gov.uk:
You’ll be paid the £150 Disability Cost of Living Payment automatically from 20 September 2022. Most people will receive their payment by the beginning of October 2022.September 22, 2022 at 10:07 pm #196748
ajn
Seems there are scams, but mine is as mentioned linked to previous DWP textsSeptember 23, 2022 at 7:15 am #196747
ajnNot had the payment yet, however did receive a text message attached to previous DWP text messages to updates when I claimed a while back…
Seemed late in the evening 21.17 (see pic), so didn’t open any links…
September 23, 2022 at 1:04 pm #196784likewise, was some article i saw about delays in benefits payments due after the queens funeral and that they would come. Maybe not at the time they usually do.
So I guess that has maybe effected the rollout of the £150 payment.

ajnThanks for the info rox,
just to update the DWP text at 21.17 last night was a genuine link, I did agree with them to be contacted by email/text rather than phone..
September 24, 2022 at 1:52 am #196818Did anyone see this weeks Question Time from Grimsby, there was a fella on there who said he will be getting two £150 disability payments,he was praising the Govt for the help they are giving.
I thought ….you getting two….hows that then ?
Is he including the already paid “council tax” payment.
September 24, 2022 at 1:04 pm #196834letter arrived today from veterans agency saying the payment will be made by end sept. my war pension is paid next tuesday so i assume it will be +150 this time.
September 25, 2022 at 9:55 am #196858
IvorBe careful, that text is a scam the DWP will never ask for bank details via text/email
September 25, 2022 at 10:31 am #196862
IvorAlso no one has to check if they qualify it’s an automatic payment
September 26, 2022 at 8:55 am #196928Apparently the payments have been delayed due to a glitchy system, payments are starting to hit from today.

Mitch,
Just seen on my online banking that a payment of £150 from the Veterans Agency hit my account last Friday. I have not received any letter from them about it though. Like yourself, my normal War Pension is paid in on a Tuesday, so this stands out as a separate payment.
Having just spoken to the Veterans Agency, this payment was the £150 cost of living payment as I receive WPMS.
The Veterans Agency did say that the £150 payments are being paid separately to the usual WP payments and are being spread out. Mine was quote ‘in the first batch’. All payments are expected to have been made by the third week of October.

Umm, I wonder ! ?
Was looking through my bank account statements online the weekend and noticed a deposit of £135 had been made by my local council. I’ve racked my brains all day trying to figure out what the payment was for as I had the £150 one months ago.
Well today a letter dropped on the mat from the council telling me what the money is and apparently it says “This grant of £135 is payable as you are of pension age and were in receipt of council tax reduction on the 1stof April.”
I’m not sure how these things work but when I came off pension credit earlier this year it meant I had to pay council tax again after not paying any since becoming disabled and claiming DVL/PIP but a lady from the council said I still get a % reduction because I only have the state pension and think I pay council tax of 80% with a 20% reduction or there’s about.
So as I was on pension credit on the qualifying date I’m not sure if the grant is because of PC or because I’m a pensioner with a council tax discount but I’m not complaining.
P.S.
The description of the payment was “Household Support Fund” for anyone who thinks they might qualify.

Prior: SEAT Ateca Xcellence Lux 1.5 TSI DSG MY19, VW Golf GTE PHEV DSG MY23
Current: Hyundai Ioniq 6 Ultimate
Next: we'll see what's available in 2028.September 30, 2022 at 12:51 pm #197124I’m still waiting for my Pension Credit payments to start, they were due over 3 months ago but from what I can see online I’ll be lucky to get them by the end of the year.
Not to worry, it’s only £94 a week, I mean I’d only waste it on frivolous stuff like food, heating costs (16c here with no heating on) or maybe go mad and fill up the car!.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
