Whilst our decision to leave Motability pre-dates these latest announcements, and most of the 1st July changes wouldn’t affect us, a black box would be a step too far for me as well.
I have experienced them first hand when my youngest daughter had her first car and, whilst I never triggered any red flags, the stress of having to always drive as though you were taking your driving test completely took all the pleasure out of driving. Add to that all the ruddy bings and bongs of our current Motability car and I think I’d lose the plot!
