In response to the OP’s original question; I don’t think AP’s will change dramatically in Q3 either way. The whole point of making the lease terms better for Motability is to trim costs so that there doesn’t need to be any massive increases in AP’s. They’ll be forecasting 5 to 10 years in advance and have ample reserves to ride out the changes while things settle down.
On the VAT debate, they’ve known for some time that they would have to shoulder the VAT on the vast majority of orders this quarter. I’m sure they’ll claw it all back over time, big business is very much a long term game.
