We have just this minute had our normal April delivery of 25,000 litres of rebatable (red) diesel and 8000 litres of road (DERV) diesel delivered out of bunkerage.

As well as the usual 70,000 litres of red diesel at our arable farms, again out of bunkerage earlier today.

Chatting to the tanker drivers, there is presently no shortage of diesel or petrol at the refineries or the storage depots.

Any ‘shortage’ is down to customers panic buying extra fuel which means tankers cannot replenish fuel stations fast enough before they run out of fuels.  The strong demand is also pushing up forecourt prices even further (law of supply and demand) before today’s crude oil increases have even worked their way through.
