Glad I can order mine from 19th July as the excess mileage cost would be crippling for me as I’m doing around 1300 miles per month based on the current mileage on my car and if that’s extrapolated across the 3 year lease I’d be 18000 miles above the new limit costing me over £4.5k, not money I’d be likely to have and I’d wager not many of us would.
I totally understand that changes needed to be made but cutting the mileage allowance in half and then upping the excess miles charge so much seems more than a little excessive. Like others I feel this, coupled with the probable (although as yet, unconfirmed) roll out of Drive Smart to all that this will push people away from the scheme if they can get a car privately.
