My view of the black box would be, if I was marked down dor swerving potholes, which are terrible here, I would ring Motability and explain the stuation. I would then drive in a straight line over any potholes and if the suspension become damaged, I would ring up Motability again and say what do you want me to do, you can’t have it both ways😂

Its tempting.  The problem is that they’ve been withdrawing insurance cover, which could be a long term problem even after finding a car elsewhere.

I am due to order in October myself and was 100% going electric but the bigger range, nicer spec cars are all too much AP for us (£1499 AP spent for our ZR-V in Jan 23 was the most we ever spent by far) and so I started looking at PHEVS. What do you think of the geely starray? Quite a big electric only range and only £2000 for the top spec. That’s my thinking at the moment. I saw one today near me and I thought it had quite a good presence.

I have no idea.  Due to the benefits driving one pedal has for my legs, I only look at EVs.  Geely has a bunch of good brands, including Volvo, so I can’t see quality being an issue.
