Thanks for the tip.I would strongly advise a test drive. There have been several examples on this forum over the years where people haven’t taken a test drive, or just had a very short one, and lived to regret it. Order in haste, repent at leisure!
That being said, if you want an EV and know that it would suit your needs (e.g. you can charge at home and the comparatively limited range won’t be an issue), I think that the ŠKODA Enyaq is a great choice. I don’t know why so many manufacturers think that EV drivers want ugly cars with the addition of ugly wheels, but that seems to be the direction of many of them (including, I’m sad to say, the likes of BMW). Kia’s seem to be the other popular choice amongst scheme customers looking for EVs, but I couldn’t live with the look of their cars. Conversely the Enyaq is one of the best looking cars on the scheme IMHO and it also comes in some lovely colours, especially the blue. Good luck!
