My one did the same, its a very thin cover, probably just a printed cover, not structural. I just run some clear CTA on the part that had lifted, and taped it in place until the silicon set. Not the prettiest, but its functional and sealed.
It may sound daft, but who’s the owner of the charger? If it’s MB then legally I would assume you weren’t allowed to do it, but report it. If it’s us, then the usual warranty question- does fixing things without manufacturer’s permission in writing void the warranty?
