Had my 85X since Jan 2024, in general it’s a good car but let down by buggy software, poor tyres on the larger wheel sizes and some poor build quality issues. Would I have another one?, possibly the SEL or an Elroq at a decent AP if I can’t find anything else I can fit into (6′ 5-1/2″ with mobility issues). Current shortlist of alternaives (dependant on AP) BYD ATTO 3 Comfort (2026 version) KIA EV5 Air Smart #1 Premium Citrroen ë-C5 Aircross Long Range MG S6 Range wise, I’ve only twice had a range (guesstimate) of over 320 miles when charging to 100%, the day I collected it and a week last summer when I did a quiet trip from Durham to Whitby, average around 3.8 to 4.2 miles per kWh. My overall average over 12,600 miles is showing as 3.1, last week on the warmest day I was getting 3.6 to 3.9 on trips around 30 miles, the day after that was down to 2.2 to 2.7. I certainly wouldn’t pay the current AP for the 85X, the SEL is much better value at £749, for me the extra £1250 for the Plus package doesn’t add anything I would miss apart from the Matrix headlights and I wouldn’t pay that much for them.

As to C5 Long Range – they didn’t bring E-5008 why would they C5?
