I would be very careful about planning 3 years of the lease based on the economy of sneaking the car close to the house for an overnight charge weekly. The end result could well be much worse than a simple choice between car options.
The short term economies through charging on the sly don’t justify the potential cost of a council set on enforcing petty rules or neighbours being petty. I’d suggest going for something running on fossil fuels for this lease, at least.
