brilliant thanks kezo. i will sort a photo out that shows the distance to kerb. but i reckon putting the car right outside the bungalow once a week overnight might be the solution. better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission lol.

I would still get a cable thats long enough to reach the road and potential for a cable cover for winter months and when its raining (muddy), which would amost certainly draw attention with 2 tyre tracks😂
A cable tide/holder on the wall would only cost around £10 and you could unwind how ever much is needed. Cheaper buying a long lead than buying a short lead only to realise you need a longer one.

Even with buying these, it would still save a good chunk over 3 yrs..
