mark, yes thats going to be the consideration that may swing it i would probabley not let it get as low as 20% but as you say life gets in the way sometimes. however if the mini is the most comfortable the monochrome is by far the best deal as far as spec is concerned as the petrols need the level 1 pack to get to similar specs so the ap jumps i havent worked out yet if the pain of the ap would be covered by reduced costs etc. test drives are arranged apart from the quashqai. so i will know by the end of the month.

The QQ ePower would be top of my petrol list. I currently have one April 2023.
The new facelift version has the improved ePower system, that is quieter and more economical than mine.
In spring to autumn, i’m often 60-80mpg. Even in November last year I got 70.7mpg for a 16mi journey when it was 2°c one evening. Yes it goes to 30-50mpg during the winter months, but it’s been quite mild this  winter.

I’d only get the Tekna trim, just for the heated seats and steering wheel. Helps with MPG in winter, if your on your own driving.

I have ASD and thus have difficulty with social and understanding information, written and verbal. I process information in logical blocks, before I reply. Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm wrong.
I also have a corneal visual condition, which makes me visually impaired without daytime, or daytime bulbs, among other disabilities/conditions.
