hi – would it be worthwhile terminating my lease early and foregoing the GCB so i dont get hit with the Vat charge on the upfront payment & most importantly will motobility let me do it
I don’t think that this would necessarily make financial sense. Motability have estimated that the average AP will increase by around £400 as a result of the changes. By terminating a lease early, paying a £250 penalty and foregoing your good condition bonus as well, you could be worse off than just suffering the additional costs when your lease expires.
