At our practise you also have to fill out form, either on line or at reception. You are then triaged by a GP who will ring you back, at some point in the same day, dependent on urgency.
You can no longer book a GP appointment directly, Save for advanched booking for weeks/months ahead. If you can wait. Ie non urgent.
This not the practise but imposed government policy to cut out the made 08:00am phone scramble.
