Thanks for that. I actually have an MG HS at the moment and regularly do 340 mile round trips in a day with not even a twinge of discomfort. It’s like an armchair!
Covering that distance in the real world, you would have to stop off and add some juice in the Ionic 5 on the return journey, so if you went that way a charging subscription packageto lower kWh the cost, would be worth looking into. I wouldn’t entertain PHEV, unless you did similar mileage to your trips locally. The new HS would be like having a different car inside and out, due to the facelift and there’s currently some cracking offers on the HS in @BigDave ‘s offers thread. @ajn has just had the HS Hybrid Trophy and the dealer bettered any offer and gave it him for nowt down!!
