The Jaecoo is an absolute minger, imho – it’s a deranged Rover from Temu, with a very traditionally chinese grille. Drives quite awful, too

    🤣🤣

It’s not a driver enthusiast car thats for sure, but early reviews suggest for everone who just wants an A to B car at the price point it’s good enough. Like Tesla it’s touchscreen crazy, suspension is firm, but interior quality and comfort is pretty good, it has all the kit you could ever wish for, inclusive of bing bongs galore, but what do you expect for £30k these days?  Why isn’t China man fitting bigger batteies to these cars though! Anyway it goes on sale this month.

Perhaps it can be forgiven for looking a bit like an Evoque, given parent company Chery, has a 50:50 joint venture between UK-headquartered Jaguar Land Rover,  a subsidiary of Tata Motors of India and Chinese automaker Chery, which was formed to allow production of Jaguar Cars and Land Rover vehicles in Chery’s mainland China factory. There’s a very good chance Chery brands reliability is better😂
