@kezo I did a 350 mile round trip today, starting with a full charge and a full tank of fuel. The journey was 95% motorway which, when traffic allowed, was mid 70s mph. Two disappointments. Firstly, on the return run, with no EV range, I returned just 34.5 mpg again (that seems to be fairly consistent now). Secondly, I was down to zero range (inc petrol) for the last 10 miles before home (and the petrol station in the village) 😰 So, in reality, the total range with a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery is just 340 miles. Thats poor. The BMW could stretch to 600 miles, as a combination of a larger petrol tank, more efficient & economical engine and lower weight, and would have given around 15 mpg better fuel economy when running on petrol alone.
