Those prices look very expensive!, my worst month this year (January) I used 283kWh charging, at 7p that’s only £19.81. Under their cheapest subsciption it would be £27.50 + £44.43 for the elctricity used. So £71.93 compared to £19.81 on Octopus Intelligent Go.

It also includes £120 of public charging however, I sill think it is expensive and doesn’t state what public chargers are included, taking into account many on here use Tesla, when neededing to top up away from home, which are cheap compared to others.

Looking at the standard plan 175kWh @ 15.7p kWh, works out at £330 a year (inc £120 public charging)

At 7p kWh x 175kWh month x 12 = £147 a year + £120 for public charging, still makes it over £60 a year cheaper than OVO’s new tariffs, thats if you spent £120 a year using public chargers at 80p kWh!!

    OVO..

“Public charging vouchers are worth £120 per year and can be used at any time throughout the course of the year. OVO’s research shows a typical EV driver that can charge at home uses public charging around 5 times a year using 30 kWhs per charge, at the average rapid charging rate of 80p per kWh this £120 public charging vouchers would cover all of a typical EV driver’s public charging yearly costs.”
