I had a look in both, my opinion on the 5 is in my long term thread.

They were clearly designed to take market share from Tesla, short of putting “I’m want to be a tesla” on the back I don’t think they could have been more obvious.  Styled on the old shape Models 3 and Y the IM5 and 6 respectively are minor details away from pure copies outside.  They also have some tech ideas from Tesla including the security and cameras.  Where they differ are the internal styling and technology.  You have that huge screen that divides into the drivers console and the entertainment screen in the middle of the car, then there’s that screen in the centre console that does just about everything else but still has a dedicated set of buttons at the bottom that fast tracks you to the menus you need most frequently.  There’s also one switch to deactivate all the ADOS and you can set a direct button press from the wheel to take you there.

Those seats are incredibly comfortable, it’s not often I sit in a seat and, after some slight adjustment I’m in heaven but these were just perfect for me.

What I did query, and would love to hear other’s thoughts on, was the distance from outside the car to the side of the seats.  There’s more space there than my Ioniq 5, which isn’t a slimline version, and I can see that having potential to be an issue for shorter people.

I'll try to give my honest opinion but am always open to learning.
