I’ve been looking at what’s coming over the next few months. The KIA PV5 could be an interesting prospect but I can’t see it being cheap if it gets to the scheme. Likewise the Ioniq 9 has been released and is a 7 seater SUV/EV, which is huge just like it’s sister the EV9. I’m equally not sure if it’ll get to scheme.
Ones more likely to get there and attracting some attention are MG’s selections. There’s a MGS6 which will be HS sized SUV but electric. They’re also releasing imminently the IM5 and IM6 with cars hitting dealerships in the next month. These are directly aimed at Tesla, both model 3 and Y, but will be available at all MG dealerships, so will be more likely to hit the scheme. There are reviews on YouTube, to give us all an idea and a look at what’s inside and, to some extent, how it drives.
The IM5 looks like it’s targeted directly at the Model3, mostly because it looks rather similar and is equally rapid. The IM6, with it’s Model Y sizing, is really beginning to appeal. I need to see it in person, which will happen before too long, but looking at all the specs (which is very high as standard and doesn’t increase as you step up the range) there’s an awful lot of tech in this car.

I'll try to give my honest opinion but am always open to learning.
