Thanks for the replies, Mrs aj wants to go Volvo again, I would’ve liked a change and hopefully better mpg, however could be Volvo again… I really appreciate the replies..
Alot depends how you drive, as no two people are the same. Typically mild hybrid, has a intergrated starter generator, which combines the function of the starter motor and alternator and powered by a small 48v lithium battery and mainly aids start/stop functionality reducing C02, whils’t allowing energy recovery when coasting or braking and a boost in economy by 4-5mpg (plenty of info on the net)

It’s a shame Volvo haven’t modernised as with other brands and indeed it’s sister car the 2024/5 Atlas!
