A) Tend to agree with @kezo There are always offers, publicised in @BigDave excellent thread, but if there was evidence of Motability customers getting ‘heavy’ discounts on top of those I suspect that we would have heard about them.
B) The vast majority of Motability customers are still successfully ordering ICE cars, rather than EVs, which suggests that there isn’t a problem getting them.
C) Targets can be monthly, quarterly or annually, but even the latter can be calendar year or financial year! Difficult to know how every dealer works and I think that period end deals are more common with retail, rather than Motability, customers, but anything is possible.
D) There is some evidence of this. There was a YouTube video that someone posted on here recently where some vulnerable Motability customers were interviewed who had allowed themselves to be talked into getting EVs when it was clear that they weren’t suitable for them (no home charging etc) and they were now in some difficulty. Sadly, there are some very unscrupulous dealers out there.
