I am right BK and the leg, or what left of it, happily dislocates the patella at any given opportunity, so my right foot must be bent to a certain angle, when I sit and the foot must be on the floor.
I had floor mounted pedal like in this link very many years ago and it was extremely inconvenient, as it forced me to bend my knee too much and then the silicon liner would eat into the skin, so I moved to flip-flop left foot accelerator.
My current vehicle is Skoda Enyaq, my dad drives Skoda Kodiaq and there is a same pedal installed for me and I find both vehicles very comfortable to drive. Note both have electric driver’s seat to adjust and store my sitting position.
Hope I have helped a bit.
