Ford Explorer and Capri are relative bargains compared to some like the EV3, good to see it on the scheme, and the EV6 which is a fantastic car but way too expensive. I had discounted both Fords as the wife wasn’t keen on the seats but I feel another visit to the dealership is on the cards.
KIA on the scheme is a good thing, however, they seem to believe they’re better than they really are. Nobody is going to jump at an EV6 for 8 grand. Not many will be excited about the EV3 GT LineS at £6,249 Not when the top IOniq 5 has dropped 1800 to become a whole grand less. I know which I’d rather have and I was really keen on the EV3 joining the scheme.
The Fords were nice cars for too much money. I think the head office listened to the numerous dealerships telling them exactly that. At 5 grand for the top available Capri, it made no sense, at 3 and a quarter it makes a lot more sense and I bet more will go and give them a fair hearing now. I know when I went to look I was expecting something to justify the price tag, which was a step too far. It would have been nice for the MachE to have dropped some as well.
