Thanks @kezo My hunch was right then. I’ve actually watched one or two reviews of the X1 PHEV (same engine) and they said that the engine sounded good and performed well, with no mention of those issues but, regardless, it wouldn’t appeal. I’d want the 2.0i petrol again, which seems to be the 23i model, which I can’t see joining the scheme (mind you, I didn’t think that the 20i would either – I thought we were only going to get EV or PHEV models).
